Today is one of the best days of the year for teachers – it’s #BestSchoolDay on Donorschoose.org! It’s a day when all donations are matched for classroom projects, making a huge impact on students. If you’re not familiar with Donorschoose.org, take a look at some of my previous posts (here, here, and here). I’m a big fan! Even though I don’t currently have a project out on Donorschoose.org right now, I’m super supportive of other teachers who are currently trying to fund their innovative classroom projects . . . which leads me to my 2017 goal. In 2017, I have committed to donating to a teacher in each of the 50 states! Today’s big event made it easy for me to make a dent in some of the states. I’m currently up to 18/50. Not too shabby for the end of March. I can’t wait to report back when I finally meet my goal of supporting a teacher in every state.
